We were excited to sell books and mingle with our authors at the 2012 annual meeting of the American Studies Association in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We were pleased to kick things off with the annual Celebration of Authors featuring all the new books published. Here are some photos of authors who stopped by our booth.
Denise Cruz, author of Transpacific Femininities: The Making of the Modern Filipina.
Ann Cvetkovich, author of Depression: A Public Feeling and An Archive of Feelings: Trauma, Sexuality, and Lesbian Public Cultures.
Adria Imada, author of Aloha America: Hula Circuits through the U.S. Empire.
Erik McDuffie, author of Sojourning for Freedom: Black Women, American Communism, and the Making of Black Left Feminism.
John McKiernan-Gonzalez, author of Fevered Measures: Public Health and Race at the Texas-Mexico Border, 1848-1942.
As usual, it's great to meet our authors in person. If you missed the meeting, you can still peruse our program ad and order online with the special 20% conference discount. See you next year in Washington, DC!
