Forbes blogger E.D. Kain recently featured a post about public education. The post links to the introduction of the “Against the Day” section of the most recent issue of the South Atlantic Quarterly, “The Struggle for Public Education in California,” by Christopher Newfield and Colleen Lye. The section is made up of essays written by University of California students who were active in the California student movements of 2009-2010.
