Zaborowska Reviewed in The New Yorker

Magdalena J. Zaborowska's new book James Baldwin's Turkish Decade: Erotics of Exile is reviewed in the new issue of The New Yorker. Claudia Roth Pierpont writes that "Zaborowska is a charming companion as she follows Baldwin's steps through Turkey, brimming with enthusiasm at the sights and at the warmth of her reception by his friends." She adds that Zaborowska "makes us feel how necessary such a refuge [Baldwin's exile in Turkey] was as the sixties wore on."
